Job Summary
Location: Sunbury, OH
We are seeking experienced manufacturing professionals to join our Rod Department. This position is ideal for candidates with machining, CNC, lathe, or machine setup experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment focused on quality and precision.
- Set up, operate, and make adjustments to production machinery
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues
- Perform quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to verify product specifications
- Read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Support machine uptime and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members and production leadership to meet daily production goals
- Previous manufacturing or machining experience required
- Experience with machine setup, adjustments, or troubleshooting preferred
- CNC machining, lathe operation, grinder operation, or related machining experience strongly preferred
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
