Job description

Acloche is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our production team.

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
  • Load raw materials and remove finished products from equipment.
  • Inspect parts and products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.
  • Record production data, quality checks, and machine performance information.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience.
  • Ability to read measuring devices and follow written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
