Job Description Summary:
The Program Manager IT will lead and manage IT staff and resources in accordance with company's IT Business Plan. Will plan and manage scope, schedule, and budget for defined deliverables in accordance with the OhioHealth IS PMO project management standards and in accordance with service level agreements at agreed upon budgets.
*This is a Hybrid position in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities And Duties:
65% Project Execution - Responsible for managing technology projects and/or programs running across one or multiple Lines of Business targeted at achieving overall business goals. They will be responsible projects from initiation through implementation including multiple software development methods. Establishes project requirements, priorities and deadlines. Manages budgets of the project, monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities:

Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant OhioHealth IS PMO guidelines
Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects
Manages budget for assigned projects, monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
Develops plans and manages interdependencies between development teams and business units
Publishes project status and executive reporting
20% Communication - Being able to articulate exactly what is needed in the project, is critical, alongside the ability to actively play a vital role as a Business Analyst to gather all of the information. We are looking for great communication skills and someone who can deal well ambiguity and is a self-starter, knows when to escalate when needed.
15% Influence without Authority - Interacts with senior leadership and cross line of business resources to deliver projects and programs
Coaches and mentors less experienced team members

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Field of Study: Business Administration, Computer/Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, HealthCare, Nursing or Related Field
  • Years of Experience: 5+ years demonstrated, progressive leadership and/or IT experience

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing complex IT programs or portfolios
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
  • Familiarity with IT governance, architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks
  • Experience in healthcare IT environments
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale IT initiatives (e.g., EHR implementations, cloud migrations, M&A integrations)
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Extensive experience with tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, and ServiceNow

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Lead multiple concurrent IT programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering measurable value while meeting scope, schedule, and budget constraints
- Develop and maintain program artifacts, roadmaps, and stakeholder engagement plans - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application, security, and
vendor resources
- Establish and facilitate program steering committees and governance ensuring efficient processes and decision making with high communication and transparency
- Drive adoption of change management strategies and ensure readiness across impacted teams -
Inspect program performance with a sense of urgency, creatively solve problems, remove roadblocks, and escalate appropriately
- Hire, coach and mentor full-time and contract project managers to successfully deliver projects
- Collaborate with peers and lead the continuous improvement of IT PMO practices
- Represent IT Solutions Delivery in enterprise forums and collaborate with the EPMO to ensure alignment
