Description

Design streets that move people-not just cars.

At Toole Design, we're leading the way in creating safer, more connected communities through sustainable multimodal transportation design. We're looking for a Project Manager, Wayfinding/Environmental Graphics to join our team in Columbus, OH, someone who's excited to lead impactful wayfinding, environmental graphics, and placemaking projects that help people navigate and experience their communities with confidence while advancing our mission and values.

Why You'll Love Working Here

We're not just another firm, we're a purpose-driven team of engineers, planners, landscape architects, and urban designers who believe streets should work for everyone. At Toole Design, you'll work alongside thought leaders and industry experts who are committed to mentoring and helping you grow your expertise. We offer:

  • A collaborative, inclusive culture that supports your growth and advancement
  • Hybrid schedule with in-office team days (Tuesday-Thursday)
  • 8 paid holidays, and 16 days of PTO accrued annually
  • Competitive salary, excellent benefits, and transportation perks: Benefits and Support
  • Projects that truly improve lives through safe, inclusive design rooted in ethics, empathy, and equity

What You'll Do

You'll lead multidisciplinary wayfinding and environmental graphics projects, manage client relationships, mentor and support design staff, and coordinate with colleagues across urban design, landscape architecture, and transportation engineering. You'll help people navigate trails, bicycle networks, transit systems, parks, and walkable districts through wayfinding strategies, signage programs, mapping, branding, and placemaking initiatives. You'll contribute to projects across the region and beyond, helping communities create connected, memorable, and user-centered public spaces.

Join Us. Make an Impact.  We're proud to be an ENR Top 500 design firm with one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry. If you're ready to do meaningful work with a supportive, talented team-apply today.

We are targeting a salary range of $78,000 to $88,000 for this position. Candidates with 10+ years of experience may be considered for compensation at the higher end of the salary range.
