Job description

Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our distribution and logistics team in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will safely operate commercial vehicles to transport and handle residential and commercial waste, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a dedicated driver looking to build a stable career in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe Operations: Safely navigate commercial vehicles through residential and commercial areas, effectively managing high-traffic conditions and tight driving environments.

  • Waste Management: Efficiently transport and handle waste materials in strict accordance with company standards and environmental safety protocols.

  • Operational Support: Travel between regional office locations and field sites as required to support daily operations.

  • Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations, corporate safety policies, and standard operating procedures.

  • Flexibility: Work a flexible schedule that includes overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet operational demands.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.

  • Medical: Current DOT Medical Card, or the ability to successfully obtain one prior to your start date.

  • Age: Must be at least 19 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Driving Record: Clean driving history with no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years and no disqualifying DUI/OVI offenses.
