Job Description

This role supports a high-volume distribution center that ships office and facility supplies nationwide. As a Utility Operator, you perform a variety of general warehouse tasks, focusing on pick, pack, packaging, palletizing, and shipping activities while maintaining a clean and safe work area. This is an entry-level position that offers hands-on experience in a modern distribution environment and the opportunity to grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately from inventory locations according to order requirements.
• Pack items securely and efficiently to prepare them for shipment.
• Package and palletize products to ensure safe and organized transport.
• Assist with shipping activities, including staging and preparing orders for outbound delivery.
• Perform general labor tasks throughout the warehouse as assigned.
• Remain flexible and willing to handle a variety of duties as operational needs change.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained work area at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing warehouse tasks.
• Stand and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
• Collaborate with team members and support different areas of the distribution center as needed.

Work Environment

You work in a very clean, well-ventilated distribution center focused on office and facility-related products such as cleaning supplies and paper goods. The role follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You spend most of your day on your feet, moving throughout the warehouse to perform pick, pack, packaging, and palletizing tasks. The environment emphasizes organization, cleanliness, and safety, providing a comfortable and professional setting for entry-level warehouse work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groveport, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
