Opportunity Summary: As an entry level Manufacturing Worker, you will be responsible for overseeing the "end of the wheel" process providing support to team members in the safe production of recycled paperboard.
How you will impact WestRock:
Operating Overhead Cranes
Assist in threading paper machines
Responsible to perform duties of other jobs in the paper mill line of progression in accordance with Labor Agreement
What you need to succeed:
High School diploma or G.E.D
Willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm shift; 7pm - 7am shift)
Ability to perform various lifting tasks to include pushing and pulling up to 50lbs
Meticulous attention to details, extremely thorough and adept at detecting errors Highly efficient in time management to effectively manage multiple priorities
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and maintain high performance; flexible
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required including weekend and holiday work
Ability to pass company required written test that includes reading tape measure, basic math, and mechanical aptitude
