Workday Functional Consultant (Core HCM, Payroll & Recruiting)
Location: Columbus, Ohio (Remote / Hybrid)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of Workday functional consulting, HRIS, or Workday administration experience.
- Deep expertise in Workday Core HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting.
- Hands-on experience configuring business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, condition rules, validation rules, and tenant settings.
- Strong testing experience, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Workday certification(s) preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security, reports, calculated fields, condition rules, validation rules, and tenant setup.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Support enhancements, releases, and production issue resolution across Core HCM, Payroll, and Recruiting.
- Develop and execute testing strategies, including SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, and production validation.
- Document configurations, testing outcomes, and solution designs.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and adoption of Workday capabilities.
- Ensure solutions align with governance, security, and data integrity standards.
