JOB SUMMARY:TheTechnical Sales Specialistwill serve as the primary technical bridge between the sales team and prospective clients. This positionis responsible fordrivingrevenue by translating complex product capabilities into tangible business value. You will manage the full technical sales cycle-frominitialdiscovery and requirement gathering todeliveringhigh-impact demonstrations and resolving technical hurdles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developrelationships with current customers andidentifypotential new customers

  • Create and conduct technical presentations and demos that present current and future products to potential customers

  • Use technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing and estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirements

  • Analyzecustomers' technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resources.

  • Build customer confidence by addressing all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sale cycle

  • Partner with internal technical and marketingteamstooffer suggestions for product enhancementsandshareinsights from customers

  • Assist withO&M Insight deployment

  • Bachelor's degree inengineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, systems engineering, orcustomer-facing technical support

  • Highproficiencyin translating technical jargon into business value for stakeholders

  • Ability to read technical drawings to generateaccuratequotes and estimates

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trustandmaintaina long-term rapport with a diverse client base

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively

The pay range for this position is below.The specific starting rate will depend on the chosen candidate's qualifications and prior experience.$80,000(entry level qualifications) to $100,000(highly experienced).This position is also eligibletoparticipatein the company's discretionary bonus program based on company and personal performance.
