- Roll stripping, prepping and loading.
- Operate cutting or other hand tools and perform physical lifting safely.
- Follow written or electronic operating procedures.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards and basic maintenance duties.
- Work safely and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Progression Opportunity - Material Handler (within 6-9 months):
New Rate: $25.90/hr + $1.50/hr Shift Premium
Additional Responsibilities
- Material Handling- Follow transporting & stacking guidelines, Shipping & Receiving- Railcars & Trailers.
- Operate Powered Industrial Trucks: Fork Truck, Clamp Truck, Dual Fork Truck, Bale Clamp Truck, and Aerial Work Platform.
- Proper use of hoists, and dollies.
- Load/unload trucks, laying rolls, move pallets and other heavy materials.
- Complete daily safety inspections and maintain work areas.
- Uphold standards in safety, quality, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude or previous industrial experience preferred.
- Able to perform physical tasks and work 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Basic skills in math, reading, writing, and computer use.
- Team orientated with a strong commitment to Safety & Quality.
