Job description

Alaska E-line Services is an oil and gas service company. We work from the North slope and Prudhoe Bay all the way down to the Kenai Peninsula and Cook Inlet. We operate in many diverse environments both, land based and offshore. While some fields are only minutes from our two shops, others are so remote that we have traveled to location by helicopter, bush plane, snow cat train and boat. We are seeking entry level shop hands to assist the shop and begin developing experience within the oil and gas community. Great Entry level position as our work often involves many other types of service companies.
We are seeking a motivated, qualified individuals to join our company who will help to maintain the upkeep of the Wireline Maintenance Shops, Equipment, and Facilities. As experience is developed this position is also eligible to go out to the field and assist in onsite well work as a E-line hand. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, Company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
  • Deliver and pick up parts or equipment.
  • Operate forklifts, pressure washers, test pumps, and other shop equipment.
  • Service and maintain equipment in optimal working order and perform regular maintenance to maximize production: break down, wash, paint, and rebuild equipment.
  • Perform general labor tasks and yard maintenance.
  • Maintain open communication with team members and leadership.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment; observe all safety and security procedures, and report unsafe conditions or hazards.
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
  • Adherence to all OSHA and HSE regulations, Company safety guidelines, and industry standards
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), desired but not required.
  • Valid state issued driver's license.
  • Maintenance or similar outdoor work experience
  • Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards.

Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions heat, cold, etc.
  • Demonstrate the ability to safely operate equipment and tools.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain awareness and recognize safety hazards.
  • Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Physical stamina required for position and the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions - heat, cold, etc.

Schedule:
  • Guaranteed 12 hour minimum while on rotation.
  • 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation.
