Job description

We are seeking a reliable, warm and friendly Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Emerald Pediatrics family. We provide care for infants and children in a pediatric office setting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires a strong interest in pediatrics, excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Requirements: Proven experience as LPN or similar role. Familiarity of safety and sanitation standards and procedures. Understanding of nursing best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and able to handle stress. Completion of LPN license program is a must. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.


Responsibilities: Assist pediatricians with patient care, procedures and treatments. Administer vaccines, breathing treatments, diagnostic tests, etc. Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories and other patient information. Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc. Collect samples for lab testing as assigned. Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care services.
