Job description

**Travel Required**

Summary:

A Qualified Electrical Worker is responsible for performing various electrical tasks while ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical systems, the ability to diagnose and repair issues, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  2. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards.
  3. Conduct tests and inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
  4. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  5. Direct and train other workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
  6. Adhere to all workplace safety policies, regulations, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an electrical worker.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and their components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Relevant license and certification.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
