Sheehan Brothers Vending is a locally owned and operated business that has been proudly serving over 400 customers across a 22-county area since 1956. Known for exceptional customer service and prompt personalized attention, we emphasize building strong relationships with our clients. Our on-site commissary and bakery produce over 150 fresh food items, including a variety of seasonal menu options and homemade baked goods like cookies and pastries. By managing our own commissary and bakery, we are uniquely positioned to deliver high-quality, customized food solutions. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Catering Assistant located in Springfield, OH. The Catering Assistant will be responsible for helping prepare food items, maintaining hygiene standards, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting food service operations. Additional responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness in food preparation areas and assisting in any catering-related tasks as needed.


Qualifications

  • Skills in Food Preparation and Food Service to assist with catering operations effectively
  • Understanding and adherence to hygiene standards and food safety practices
  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to ensure positive client interactions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying customer needs and seasonal menu changes
  • Prior catering or food service experience is an advantage
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Compensation and Schedule:

$15.00 per hour with an additional step-up process at 90 days and 6 months.

  • Monday thru Friday from 6am to 2:30pm with occasional overtime as needed. (Must be able to work independently on Friday as this position is responsible for the catering department)
