Job description

This will be a 3rd shift position / 12-hour shifts

We’re looking for a dependable Logistics Analyst to support daily dispatch and resource coordination activities that ensure timely, efficient service delivery to MPW customers. This role plays a critical part in scheduling personnel, equipment, and transportation resources while responding to changing operational demands in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule manpower and equipment to support upcoming customer projects and service requests.
  • Continuously review and adjust schedules to reflect operational changes and maximize resource utilization.
  • Coordinate equipment assignments while ensuring compliance with applicable DOT regulations.
  • Communicate job assignments, schedules, and updates to drivers and field personnel.
  • Prepare job packets including work orders, directions, permits, and required safety documentation.
  • Monitor and update the status of equipment, loads, and field resources.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or team member.
  • Respond to emergency customer requests by coordinating rapid deployment of personnel and equipment.
  • Identify staffing, material, and equipment shortages and implement solutions to maintain service continuity.
  • Coordinate equipment transfers between job sites to support operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and dispatch records within company systems.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve scheduling efficiency and customer responsiveness.
  • Support daily logistics planning activities to ensure safe and productive job execution.
  • Make independent decisions within established guidelines to support operational objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and customer needs.

 

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational, industrial, or technical training preferred.
  • One to two years of dispatch, logistics, transportation, or service industry experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating truck, equipment, or workforce scheduling is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
  • Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and standard business software applications.
  • Ability to analyze schedules, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly to changing operational demands.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and communicating by phone.
