Job description

Job Title: Assistant Director of Equipment Services Department: Athletics | Equipment CareJob Description
  • Manages equipment for Women's Ice Hockey and other assigned sports.
  • Orders, fits, maintains, repairs, issues, cleans, and inventories athletic equipment for assigned teams.
  • Assists in purchasing of equipment, contacts vendors, prepares orders, receives, and inspects deliveries.
  • Assists with budget costs on assigned sports equipment needs.
  • Makes on the spot decisions related to equipment and student athlete safety for assigned sports.
  • Manages fitting and maintenance of protective equipment.
  • Attends home and travels to away contest to coordinate team equipment needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with purchasing and equipment maintenance required.
  • Knowledge and experience in skate sharpening, repair, cleaning, and maintenance of athletic equipment and apparel desired.
  • Candidates must have successful experience working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment and act with integrity and personal accountability.

Hours and days worked vary. May require completion of a criminal background check.
