Job description

Job #8744 | Westerville, Ohio, onsite (minimum 3 days/week, up to 5 days/week during critical phases) | 6-month Full-Time W2 contract with potential 3-month extension and possible additional extension | Benefits Eligible

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a senior digital delivery leader to own the end-to-end launch of a new global website and its migration to a composable digital experience platform. This hands-on role will drive platform migration, content readiness, stakeholder alignment, vendor coordination, governance, and go-live execution across a complex global organization. The successful candidate will bring significant experience launching enterprise-scale websites and be comfortable driving decisions with executive, technical, marketing, product, and regional stakeholders. This is a high-visibility, six-month engagement with defined milestones and the potential for extension.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a large global organization undertaking a significant transformation of its primary digital presence. The initiative involves migrating to a modern composable platform while coordinating content, technology, localization, governance, and regional requirements across multiple teams and markets. The project strategy, platform selection, and content framework are already established, with the focus now shifting to execution and successful delivery. The environment requires close collaboration across Marketing, IT, Product, regional teams, executive leadership, agencies, and technology partners.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a global enterprise website launch, from platform migration and content readiness through approvals and go-live
  • Manage the content migration program, ensuring editorial content is audited, classified, produced, localized, and migrated without launch gaps
  • Drive alignment and timely decision-making across Marketing, IT, Product, regional teams, executive stakeholders, and external partners
  • Manage content agencies, localization vendors, and technical implementation partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Establish and run cross-functional governance processes that surface dependencies, resolve blockers, and escalate risks before they impact delivery
  • Coordinate regional approval workflows while accounting for localization, compliance, and differing stakeholder requirements
  • Oversee launch readiness activities including QA, rollback planning, SEO validation, URL mapping, and go-live execution
  • Track technical and content dependencies across CMS, PIM, DAM, and related digital-platform workflows
  • Maintain delivery against fixed milestones and deadlines while coordinating multiple simultaneous workstreams and stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in digital project delivery, enterprise web platform launches, or digital transformation
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise website migrations on time and on budget
  • Experience leading 2+ full corporate website launches or platform migrations at enterprise scale, including sites with 500+ pages and multiple markets
  • Deep understanding of content operations, including CMS, PIM, DAM, localization workflows, and editorial governance
  • Experience with composable or headless digital platforms and a strong understanding of modern content architectures
  • Demonstrated experience managing content audit, classification, production, migration, and localization programs
  • Experience coordinating 10+ internal stakeholders and external vendors simultaneously
  • Experience presenting to and driving decisions with C-level executives and steering committees
  • Working knowledge of SEO migrations, URL mapping, 301 redirects, QA, rollback planning, and approaches to minimizing regression during launch
  • Experience navigating global organizations with regional approval, localization, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to deliver complex digital initiatives against fixed deadlines and proactively resolve risks and dependencies
  • Must be available to work onsite in Westerville, Ohio a minimum of 3 days per week and up to 5 days per week during critical project phases
  • Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks

WHO MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT:

  • Digital/web agency veteran: You’ve launched dozens of enterprise websites and know the playbook cold. You’re ready for a client-side role where you own the outcome, not just the deliverable.
  • Management consultant: You’ve run large-scale digital transformation programs at McKinsey, Deloitte, Accenture, or similar, and want to actually build something instead of writing another deck about it.
  • Corporate digital leader between roles: You’ve been a Head of Digital, Director of Web, or similar and you’re looking for a high-impact interim project that leverages your full experience.
  • Returning professional: You’ve been on parental leave or a career break and want to re-enter with a meaty, high-visibility project that leverages your full experience.
  • Recently impacted by layoffs: You have deep expertise in this space and want a focused engagement that keeps you sharp while you evaluate full-time options.
