Job description

Overview

Miles McClellan is seeking a Commercial Mason to perform skilled masonry work on projects throughout Central Ohio. This role is responsible for constructing, repairing, and finishing brick, block, stone, and other masonry structures while maintaining quality and safety standards on the jobsite.

What You'll Do

  • Install brick, block, stone, and other masonry materials.
  • Lay out and construct walls to project specifications.
  • Build leads and ensure proper alignment, elevation, and bond patterns.
  • Grout walls and complete masonry finishing work.
  • Verify measurements, heights, and workmanship quality throughout installation.
  • Perform demolition and repair work as required.
  • Safely use scaffolding, ladders, and other jobsite equipment.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow company safety policies and jobsite procedures

What We're Looking For
  • At least 1 year of masonry construction experience.
  • Experience working with brick, block, and stone installation preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to project sites throughout Central Ohio.
  • Ability to read measurements and perform layout work accurately.
  • Knowledge of masonry tools, materials, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements, including: Standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying 40-80 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching, working outdoors in varying weather conditions
