Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions. This individual partners across functions to design analyses, build dashboards, and uncover trends that optimize performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and support data-driven business planning. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled, manufacturing background and business-minded, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track KPIs and business performance.
  • Conduct deep-dive trend and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with functional teams (operations, finance, supply chain, sales) to define metrics, design reports, and automate recurring analyses.
  • Use statistical and predictive analysis to support planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
  • Continuously improve data pipelines and data integrity, working closely with IT and system owners.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, business-focused terms.
  • Support SIOP and strategic planning processes with timely, accurate data and insights.
  • Identify automation opportunities and implement self-service analytics tools to empower users and reduce manual reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one major BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
  • Strong experience in data modeling, visualization, and storytelling.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, data integration, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics or automation preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain analytics is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • The role is primarily based in an office environment but may requiring site visits and interaction with production teams.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
  • The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
  • Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.
  • Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.

TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • Occasional travel to different office locations, client sites, or conferences may be necessary.
