Job description

PreOp / Pacu Rn – Adult Cardiac/Peripheral Vascular Procedures

Shift: Day — primary 3x12s (8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.) or 4x10s (10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.) Call: Included; weekend call rotation approximately every 3rd–4th weekend

Minimum 2 years RN experience Required: Pre-op / Post-op experience Required: Epic charting experience Preferred: Pacu experience, Level I trauma experience, prior charge RN experience Required certification: Bls Preferred: Acs, Nihss

Provide Phase I Pacu care and conduct pre-op assessment and education. Monitor hemodynamics, including arterial lines, Cvp, and pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz). Perform cardiac monitoring and recognize dysrhythmias and interpret 12-lead Ecgs. Care for vascular surgery/post-op patients with a focus on bleeding risk and graft monitoring. Administer Iv vasopressors, blood products, and manage central/Picc lines. Conduct Abg interpretation, airway assessment, and pain management.
