Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Developer - Intermediate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Systems Engineering and Software Development, with advanced knowledge in infrastructure disciplines and functions. This role involves managing and supporting infrastructure, developing automation solutions, and ensuring system security and compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, install, configure, and maintain highly resilient and stable mainframe infrastructure, including hardware and software components (z/OS, CICS, DB2, MQ).
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mainframe applications (COBOL, PL/I, JCL).
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes using modern scripting languages (REXX, Python) and tools.
  • Manage the software development lifecycle using Broadcom CA Endevor for change management and configuration control.
  • Integrate Endevor with modern version control systems like Bitbucket (Git) for a unified source code management experience.
  • Utilize Jules (or similar tools) to orchestrate and manage automated deployment processes.
  • Monitor performance and stability of production systems, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures.
  • Perform problem tracking, diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and resolution for complex technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and licensing management for all mainframe software.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Mainframe Systems Engineer or similar role in a large enterprise environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of IBM z/OS and associated subsystems (JCL, JES, TSO, ISPF, SMP/E, CICS, DB2, MQ, RACF).
  • Hands-on experience with Broadcom CA Endevor for mainframe source code management and SDLC.
  • Experience with modern version control systems, specifically Bitbucket (Git), and integrating it with mainframe processes.
  • Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools like Jules for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
