1st shift sit- down forklift operator
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hourShift & Schedule:
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday
  • 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Overtime may be required during the week and on Saturdays
  • Report to Dan or Faith
PPE / Dress Code RequirementsEmployees must provide:
  • Steel or composite toe safety shoes/boots
  • Long pants with no rips or holes
  • Short sleeves are permitted; long sleeves are preferred
WPI will provide:
  • Safety glasses
  • High-visibility vest
  • Work gloves

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Structural Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling structural frames and components according to engineering drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble structural frames and components according to assembly drawings and specifications.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to cut, measure, and fit materials to precise dimensions.
  • Secure components using bolting, fastening, and other mechanical assembly techniques.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control requirements.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in carpentry, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related trade preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials as required.
