Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

Join our team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant, dedicated to delivering superior quality care while embracing the Select Medical Way and Core Values. • Implement treatment goals and programs established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, and pain relief techniques.
• Train patients in locomotion using assistive devices; demonstrate proper usage and safety awareness.
• Administer and demonstrate the application of various modalities, ensuring patient responses are monitored.
• Document patient progress, response to treatment, and educate families on good body mechanics.
• Establish professional relationships with patients and staff, consulting as necessary regarding therapy and treatment goals.
• Maintain a clean treatment area and equipment, adhering to safety and infection control guidelines.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience.
• Current CPR Certification.

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule, starting on 8/17.
