Tax Supervisor

• Engagement Leadership: Lead and manage tax compliance engagements for corporations (C-Corp, S-Corp), partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Review & Preparation: Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax legislation.
• Tax Planning: Research and develop strategic tax planning techniques and projections to optimize client financial positions.
• Team Mentorship: Supervise, train, and provide technical guidance to staff associates and interns.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to inquiries and assisting with IRS or state tax notices. 

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's in Taxation is a plus.
• Certification: Active CPA license required.
• Skills: Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystems, or ProSystem fx) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Attributes: Strong analytical skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
