Job description

Drive With Purpose — Join Our Team!

Got a love for the open road and a heart for helping people? Prestige Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a friendly, reliable Transportation Driver to help our residents get where they need to go — safely, comfortably, and with a smile.

This isn't just a driving job. Every trip you make helps a resident get to a doctor's appointment, therapy session, or a fun outing in the community. If you like meaningful work, good conversation, and being the highlight of someone's day, we want to meet you!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely transporting residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, dialysis, and approved outings

  • Helping residents in and out of the vehicle, including those using wheelchairs or walkers

  • Doing quick pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and reporting any issues

  • Keeping simple logs of trips, times, and pick-up/drop-off details

  • Teaming up with our nursing and scheduling staff to keep appointments running smoothly

  • Making sure every resident is buckled up, comfortable, and safe on the road

  • Keeping the vehicle clean and ready to roll

  • Following our infection control and confidentiality guidelines

  • Staying calm, kind, and helpful if a resident needs extra support during a trip

What We're Looking For

  • A valid driver's license

  • A positive attitude and a genuine care for our residents

  • Prior experience driving wheelchair-accessible or medical transport vehicles is a plus — but not required, we'll train you!

  • Comfortable assisting with mobility aids and lending a hand when needed

  • CPR/First Aid certification is a bonus (or willingness to get certified)

  • Great communication skills and a reliable, can-do attitude

  • Flexibility to work around resident appointment schedules

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • We provide the vehicle insurance — just bring your safe driving skills!

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid time off

  • A close-knit, supportive team that feels like family

  • The chance to make a real difference in someone's day, every single day
