Cath Lab Registered Nurse - Columbus, OH | Electrophysiology Lab

End Date: 11/09/2026

Shift: Day Shift, 4x10 hours (07:00-17:30)

Hours/Week: 40

Employment: Temporary

License/Certs: ACLS, BLS

Experience: 2+ years in cardiac electrophysiology or EP lab

Hourly Pay Rate: $72.34

What You'll Do

  • Provide specialized care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, supporting procedures such as cardiac ablations, device implantations, and arrhythmia management.
  • Assist with complex electrophysiological and cardiac procedures, including pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction and programming.
  • Monitor patients during invasive procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cardiology teams to interpret baseline measurements and conduction studies.
  • Support post-procedure care, patient education, and documentation using EP lab protocols.
  • Maintain sterile environment and equipment readiness to ensure procedure success.
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring advanced cardiac life support.

What You Need

Required:
  • Valid Ohio RN license
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in cardiac electrophysiology or EP lab setting
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system and electrophysiology procedures
Preferred:
  • Experience with cardiac device management (pacemakers, defibrillators)
  • Knowledge of electrophysiology mapping, cardiac ablations, and conduction studies
