Job description


Brite Logistics is hiring experienced CDL-A OTR Truck Drivers for dry van freight. Drivers will run approximately 2 weeks out with 2 full days of home time, hauling 100% no-touch freight with modern Freightliner and Volvo tractors, and the choice of W-2 or 1099 employment.

Valid Class A CDL Required

At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience required


Pay & EarningsW-2 Drivers
  • $0.63-$0.68 per mile
  • Average weekly miles of 2,500 miles per week

What You'll Do

As a CDL-A OTR Truck Driver, you will:

  • Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on regional and nationwide routes
  • Haul 100% no-touch dry van freight
  • Complete approximately 2,500-2,700 miles per week
  • Safely deliver freight according to assigned schedules and routes
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation
  • Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
  • Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers
  • Safely operate and care for assigned equipment

Requirements

To qualify for this CDL-A OTR Truck Driver position, you must:

  • Have at least 12 months of full-time CDL-A tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Be at least 23 years old
  • Hold a valid Class A CDL
  • Be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • Have an acceptable driving record with no major moving violations within the last year
  • Have no DUI
  • Have no current SAP status
  • Demonstrate a reliable and responsible work history
  • Meet all applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements
