Contractor

Job description

Benefits:
  • Club Membership Perks
  • Flexible schedule
  • Wellness resources

Help Build Something New at Polaris!
Solterra Wellness Club is building our founding Pilates instructor team as we prepare to open our new integrated fitness and wellness club at The Galaxy at Polaris.
This is an opportunity to join Solterra before opening, establish your own recurring classes, build relationships with founding members, and help shape the culture and community of our Pilates program from the beginning.
Our Pilates studio will feature 12 Balanced Body Allegro 2 Reformers with Towers in a thoughtfully designed, fully equipped environment built for exceptional instruction and client experience.
What You'll Do
  • Lead engaging, technically sound Reformer and/or Mat Pilates classes based on your training and experience.
  • Deliver clear cueing with strong attention to alignment, form, pacing, progression, and movement quality.
  • Provide thoughtful modifications and options for varying experience levels and abilities.
  • Create classes where members feel welcomed, challenged, supported, and excited to return.
  • Bring your own personality and teaching strengths while delivering a consistent Solterra experience.
  • Build authentic relationships with members and help grow your classes and the Solterra Pilates community.
  • Participate in workshops, events, and specialty programming as opportunities arise.
Qualified instructors may also have opportunities to provide private Pilates sessions based on experience, certification, availability, and client demand.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome instructors with recognized Pilates training and demonstrated competency teaching Reformer and/or Mat Pilates.
Comprehensive Pilates certification is not required for every instructor. Reformer-certified instructors with strong teaching skills and appropriate training are encouraged to apply.
We're especially interested in instructors who bring:
  • Excellent cueing and a confident, welcoming teaching presence.
  • Strong understanding of alignment, movement mechanics, modifications, and safe progression.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and genuine care for the client experience.
  • CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain prior to opening.
Compensation & Perks
  • $30–$45 base pay per completed group class, based on experience, training, and format.
  • Additional attendance pay of $4 for each checked-in member over 8, allowing instructors to earn more as their classes grow.
  • Private-session compensation paid separately when applicable.
  • Discounts on Solterra services, retail, and café offerings.
  • Opportunity to establish your classes and community as part of Solterra's founding instructor team.
This is an independent contractor (1099) position.
A Schedule That Works
We are currently building our founding schedule, with opportunities ranging from a few consistent classes each week to a larger recurring schedule. We'll work with instructors to identify recurring times that align with their availability and Solterra's programming needs.
More Than a Pilates Studio
Solterra Wellness Club is opening Fall 2026 at The Galaxy at Polaris. Our integrated club brings together Reformer and Mat Pilates, heated yoga, infrared sauna, recovery experiences, red light therapy, massage and bodywork, skin health, medical wellness, and a coffee and juice lounge in one thoughtfully designed environment.
Come be part of what we're building from the beginning.

Apply with your resume and a brief summary of your Pilates training, teaching experience, preferred formats, and availability.
