Job description

Overview

The Mason Tender supports masonry crews by preparing materials, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and assisting with the installation of brick, block, and stone on commercial construction projects throughout Central Ohio.

What You'll Do
  • Mix mortar and grout to support masonry operations.
  • Stock and distribute brick, block, stone, and other materials to crew members.
  • Cut masonry materials using approved tools and equipment.
  • Erect, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding as needed.
  • Assist with masonry installation, cleanup, and demolition activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow company safety policies and jobsite procedures.
  • Support masons and crew members with daily project tasks.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous construction or masonry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Reliable transportation to project sites throughout Central Ohio.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Willingness to learn masonry trade skills and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements, including: Standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching, working outdoors in varying weather conditions
