Job description

Join an award-winning, physician-led health system known for its collaborative culture, strong clinical support, and commitment to physician well-being. This opportunity offers the ability to practice comprehensive general urology within a well-established group while benefiting from the resources of a large tertiary care teaching hospital. This is a general urology position, but some subspecialty volume could be supported with a general urology mix.
Hospital Highlights
* Tertiary care teaching hospital with more than 200 beds and one of the nation's largest osteopathic graduate medical education programs.
* Advanced surgical capabilities, including robotic-assisted surgery and state-of-the-art operating suites.
* Accredited cancer program with comprehensive cardiovascular, neurosciences, and rehabilitation services.
* Part of a large, integrated health system recognized nationally for physician satisfaction, quality outcomes, and workplace culture.
Practice Highlights:
* Join an established team of four urologists in a growing, high-volume practice.
* Balanced schedule with dedicated clinic and OR time.
* Shared 1:5 call rotation.
* Strong referral network and consistent patient demand.
* Opportunity to build a broad general urology practice with access to advanced technology and subspecialty support.
* Clinical scope includes kidney stone disease, BPH, overactive bladder, recurrent UTIs, hematuria evaluations, bladder, kidney, and prostate cancer management, cystoscopy, ureteral stent procedures, prostate biopsy, intravesical Botox therapy, urodynamics, and robotic-assisted surgery.
* For those with teaching interests, there is opportunity to: teach and mentor residents and medical students, participate in curriculum development and educational initiatives, and engage in scholarly activities and clinical research based on individual interests.
Location Highlights:
Located in one of the Midwest's fastest-growing metropolitan areas, Columbus offers a diverse economy, excellent public and private schools, a vibrant dining and entertainment scene, extensive parks and outdoor recreation, and convenient access to a major international airport.
