Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP

About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73109!

Job Title

Registered Nurse โ€“ Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to cardiac changes appropriately
  • Manage IV insulin protocols and administer medications per physician orders
  • Perform and assist with Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
  • Operate and monitor patients with pacemakers
  • Float within scope to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Current and valid RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Completed EKG Course and/or Telemetry competency test
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR
  • Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (non-local travelers only)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry environment
  • Familiarity with pacemaker management and telemetry monitoring in an acute care setting
  • Experience with Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) procedures
