3 Key Consulting is hiring! We are recruiting an Associate Packaging Engineerfor a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biotechnology company.
Job Description:
This position will report into the Packaging Engineering group under Combination Product Operations (CPO) in New Albany, Ohio (AOH). The role focuses on the development of engineering drawings and technical layout templates (TLTs) to support commercial artwork for labeling and secondary packaging printed components. Knowledge of labeling and secondary packaging design is key to the position. The position requires experience in multitasking different requests, technical problem solving and communication (written and verbal) skills, and the ability to work in teams and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Top Must Have Skill Sets:
Bachelor's in Design, Packaging, Engineering, or related field.
3 to 5 years of general design experience.
Independent thinker with demonstrated skills working in teams or leading project teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts while paying close attention to details.
Experience in a GDP / GMP environment is a bonus.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Creation of engineering drawings and technical layout templates (TLTs) to support commercial packaging artwork development.
Competency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional), or similar software application to create, modify and approve engineering drawings and templates.
Familiarity with printing processes for labeling and packaging components.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams (i.e., Quality, Device Engineering, Supply Chain, Artwork, Manufacturing, Regulatory, etc.) in pre-commercial and commercial activities.
Troubleshoot issues with packaging specifications and templates as related to Artwork.
Supporting Packaging Engineering team as needed to ensure project milestones are met.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree OR Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Design, Packaging, Engineering, or related field.
3 to 5 years of general design experience.
Independent thinker with demonstrated skills working in teams or leading project teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts while paying close attention to details.
Experience in a GDP / GMP environment is a bonus.
