We offer comprehensive design phase and construction phase services under all delivery and contractual methods, including construction management, general contracting, design-build, and design-assist. Job Description:
Position Summary
This role involves performing a variety of construction tasks, operating heavy machinery, and supporting project completion on commercial and infrastructure sites. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, construction site work, and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure safety and efficiency across projects.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy construction equipment including skid steers, excavators (ranging from CAT 35 to 325), lulls, and loaders.
  • Assist with site preparation, grading, and material management.
  • Support excavation, material movement, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards during all operations.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and participate in job hazard analyses (JHAs) and Morning Action Plans (MAPs)
  • Maintain equipment logs, project notes, and documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is essential
  • Able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and on active construction sites
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with project teams and supervisors

Education and Experience
  • 3 - 5 years of experience operating skid steers, excavators, lulls, and loaders
  • Preferred 3-5 years of field experience on commercial construction sites
  • Preferred experience operating equipment with GPS units
  • OSHA 10 certification
