Miller Pipeline is hiring Sewer Locators. Duties include using robotic CCTV camera equipment to inspect, locate, and map sanitary and storm sewer systems.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Properly lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
  • Data entry on PC video recording software.
  • Regular maintenance of mechanical and electronic equipment.
  • Use receiver to accurately locate sewer mains and laterals.
  • Legibly draw sewer map of construction area.
  • Communicate with city utility departments.
  • Transfer data between rig and central servers.
  • Drive pickup truck/trailer or full-sized van classified as a CMV.
  • Set up and maintain safe job site and safe work practices.
  • Compress soil and asphalt.
  • Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
  • Operate vehicles used for hauling.
  • Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
  • Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
  • Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional or personal use of computers and electronics.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Clean driving record and a DOT physical or ability to obtain one upon employment.
  • Drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV), and travel regionally and respond to emergency situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ year in robotic CCTV operation or utility locating.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
