Office of Advancement: Advancement Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Office of Advancement at St. Charles Preparatory School is seeking a versatile, flexible, detail-oriented, project-driven professional to assist the planning and execution of tasks for the Office of Advancement. This person should possess excellent communication, computer, organizational and time-management skills. The ability to serve others, adapt to changing needs, work well with a team while prioritizing tasks is essential.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Advancement Coordinator will serve as part of a team that translates the school's strategic plan into tactics that have meaningful impact for the school and for generations of young men who will attend it. This role requires a blend of creative problem solving, tactical planning and savvy execution.
This is a part-time role (20-25 Hours) performed within the Office of Advancement on the campus of St. Charles.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Execute tasks in OneCause event software for school-wide events serving as the main contact for parent volunteers and coaches who utilize OneCause for fundraising, including setup, training, and troubleshooting
  • Manage and coordinate functions in Raisers Edge, including gift entry, donor information management, events and reporting
  • Work with volunteers and helping train on tasks when necessary
  • Execute the details of events for the Office of Advancement: registration, vendor contact and logistic details for the event
  • Assist with functions managed by the Office of Advancement and the Director of Advancement

Qualifications:
  • Superb writing and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with the suite of Microsoft office tools
  • Knowledge of Raisers Edge and One Cause
  • Ability to complete work on teams, independently and through productive collaboration with vendors and stakeholders
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of special activities, meetings and events
  • Compliance with background and safety requirements for work with and in proximity to students of the Diocese of Columbus
  • Commitment to the Mission, Vision, Values and Founding Promise of St. Charles and its role as a teaching ministry of the Diocese of Columbus
