Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Android Full Stack Developer for a long-term project with Infosys at their client, Apple, in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Android application development and solid backend development skills, working in a fast-paced, enterprise-grade environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android mobile applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both frontend (Android) and backend systems.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with microservices architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and bug fixing.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Maintain documentation and follow best practices and design patterns.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong experience with Jetpack, Android Architecture Components, and Material Design.
• Proficiency in backend development using technologies such as Node.js, Java Spring Boot, or Python.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC.
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred).
• Experience with SQLite, Room, or other local storage solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Understanding of mobile security, data protection, and app performance optimization.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Preferred:
• Experience working with Apple as a client or within the Infosys ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso).
