Summary:

The Production Technology Specialist I, provides operational support for production planning, process execution, and production system activities within the Module Tech division. This role is responsible for maintaining production data, tracking key operational metrics, supporting routine business processes, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient daily manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Planning & Operations Support-

• Assist with the development of mid- and long-term operational plans for the Module Tech division.
• Support execution and tracking of capacity plans for mass production lines.
• Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (POR, FTY, Yield).
• Compile production data and prepare routine performance reports.
• Track customer sample schedules and key project milestones.
• Monitor production volumes and shipment performance.
• Support administrative activities, including role and responsibility documentation, organizational charts, and onboarding.
• Monitor production costs, including OPEX, material loss, and fixed costs, and report variances.
• Assist in collecting and organizing data related to quality issues and on-hold inventory.

Process Management-

• Support production operations and assist with production handoff activities.
• Collect operational data to support Analog-to-Digital (A2D) transformation initiatives.
• Monitor standard production processes from cell input through finished goods shipment and escalate exceptions as needed.
• Support execution of production system processes.
• Assist with updates to factory layout documentation and logistics process flows.

Inventory & Financial Closing Support-

• Assist with inventory audit activities.
• Support routine system transactions and data entry for month-end and year-end inventory closing.

Production Systems Support-

• Identify and report routine opportunities for improvement within MES, FMCS, and other production systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist with system integration activities and implementation of new production processes.

Automated Logistics Support-

• Support monitoring of automated logistics processes to ensure efficient material movement.
• Identify routine operational issues and assist with continuous improvement activities for automated logistics systems.

Eduction/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-3+ years of experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Familiarity with production planning, KPI tracking, and basic cost control concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and manage routine tasks with accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Korean language proficiency is a plus
