Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Field Technician level work, Project Management, and Quality Assurance Lead
  • Asset & Inventory Management (Trucks, Materials, Warehouse, etc.)
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret client requirements, specifications, and site details
  • Working towards demanding deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of detailed design documentation
  • Awareness of technical and BISCI compliance in line with client and state, county and city ordinance requirements
  • Liaison with key suppliers and relevant external agencies, ensure best price for costing of equipment and workforce for all projects
  • Creation and management of billing materials and on-time product pickup and placement for customer projects
  • On-site/ Internal Training as needed/business development activities
  • Participate in Internal/ External Meetings as required 
  • All other duties as assigned or requested by Management Team
Preferred Skills

  • 1-2 years demonstrated ability in telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of WAN technologies, Carrier Services, Analog Lines, PRI, Managed Services. Broadband Types:   Coaxial Fiber. Integration of Traditional Business Telephone Systems, VoIP systems, Paging.
  • Knowledge of LAN Installation. Communication Endpoints, Telecommunication Space Build-out, Rack Interconnect, Copper, Optical Fiber, Outside Plant, Surveillance Systems, Alarm Installation and Conduit Bending or Installing.
  • Knowledge of Audio-Visual Technologies to include but not limited to Site Paging, Sound Amplification, Time Clocks, and Digital Signage
  • Small to mid-size business awareness with estimating and technical scope writing experience. Cost Estimates.
  • IT literate with sound knowledge of MS office suite packages and Database management Software (Access, Excel, Smartsheet)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Capable of working individually or within a team
