Job description

Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Architect/Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install and configure Windows and Linux operating systems within cloud IaaS providers.
  • Lead and support complex cloud infrastructure projects through completion, ensuring alignment with AHM IT and HDMA standards.
  • Recommend cloud-based platform services, including container platform capabilities, that improve performance, scalability, resilience, and enable new capabilities.
  • Evaluate, compare, and implement emerging technologies and integrate systems into the cloud computing environment.
  • Lead the transition of locally hosted infrastructure to cloud platforms while ensuring integration with existing enterprise systems.
  • Support implementation and integration of Kubernetes-based container environments, including AWS EKS and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, where aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based compute, storage, and container platform environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions for cloud and on-premise infrastructure management.

WANTS
Minimum Experience               

  • 5+ years managing enterprise-level cloud infrastructure environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with emerging technologies, including DevOps, hyperconverged infrastructure, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on working experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment (Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Chef, Puppet, or similar).
  • Strong expertise in Linux and Windows environments.

Desired Certifications:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Specialty Certifications, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
