We are seeking a part-time Prevention Specialist at our Afterschool Program.
What you’ll do:
  • Facilitate engaging social-emotional learning activities for youth ages 8–18
  • Teach life skills, healthy expression, self-regulation, and positive decision-making
  • Lead community service-learning projects that encourage leadership and civic engagement
  • Plan and implement fun, creative, and interactive group activities
  • Build positive relationships that foster youth growth, resilience, and confidence
  • Maintain basic documentation and collaborate with program staff to support youth success
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. during the school year amp; 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. during Summer months
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or specialized training
  • Experience working with youth and facilitating educational or social-emotional learning activities required
  • Strong engagement, communication, and group facilitation skills
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
