Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist K-12 Mild/Moderate License or Alternative Intervention Specialist License
  • Experience working with middle school students (ages 12–14) preferred
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction according to students’ IEPs
  • Co-plan and serve alongside grades 7/8 Math and English teachers
  • Write, attend, and lead IEP meetings for students on your caseload (16 students, 1 school site)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, communications, and progress monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with all deadlines and requirements
  • Support additional teacher duties as assigned
