Autobody Painter / Prepper, St. Thomas, ON (J,A)
We are looking for an experiencedAutobody Painter/Prepperto our client's team in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on deliveringhigh-quality paint and prep workwhile maintaining safety and efficiency.

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare vehicles and parts for paint (sand, mask, prime, clean)
  • Mix and match paint using automated mixing systems
  • Apply coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment
  • Perform touch-ups and finishing work as needed
  • Inspect work and identify defects or imperfections
  • Clean and maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and use PPE properly
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Assist with material handling and shop support tasks

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of autobody painting/prep experience (Journeyman or Apprentice is ideal)
  • 310 B License
  • Strong knowledge of paint prep, refinishing, and repair processes
  • Ability to identify defects and ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Comfortable using spray guns, power tools, and shop equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Physically capable (lifting, standing, bending for extended periods)
  • Committed to safety and following procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced shop environment
  • Exposure to dust, noise, heat, and fumes
  • Use of PPE required (respirator, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
  • Physically demanding role requiring stamina and coordination

The Pay:
  • Flat rate pay plan withstraight time guarantee available ($18.00/hour and $43.00/hour, based on experience)
