    Position Profile
    Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Senior Associate level to join our Fixed Asset Advisory practice! This is a growing practice with room for growth and career development. The successful candidate will help our clients with:
    • Cost segregation
    • Tangible Property (Repair) Regulations
    • Fixed asset reviews
    • 179D and 45L green construction deductions and credits

    A Weaver Senior Associate is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. This individual has the opportunity to assist and mentor less experienced teammates.     Duties & Responsibilities
    • Provide cost segregation, fixed assets reviews and tax valuation for new and acquired buildings, industrial projects, renovations, and expansions.
    • Assist in developing benefit estimates, interacting with clients and scheduling associated project deliverables.
    • Prepare cost segregation studies and other related FAA projects.
    • Assist team in preparing presentations for proposals, drafting SOWs, planning strategies, and ideas.
    • Respond to client requests and correspond with clients to meet engagement goals and deliverables.
    • Travel to client locations to identify and document acquired and constructed buildings.
    • Demonstrate ability to understand the IRs code, regulations, and pronouncements for various tax issues; training provided.
    • Prepare schedules and deliverables for management review.

    Education and Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or construction technology
    • Experience with 179D and 45L is highly considered
    • 2-5 years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
    • 1 year of experience in cost segregation
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
    • Proficient with Excel and Bluebeam or a similar software
    • Experience estimating with RS Means and CoreLogic MVS
    • Experience with Sage, Bloomberg/BNA Tax or CCH is a plus

    Compensation and Benefits: At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. We take the time to evaluate our employees' wants and needs and invest our resources accordingly. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. In addition to compensation packages, Weaver offers competitive health benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
