Job description

Job Title: Shipping Receiving Material Handler
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Compensation: $18.00-21.00 per hour
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Flex
Job Description:
Shipping receiving material handler
Monday to Friday no weekends
Submittals to Ellen and she will send to Mike or Geoff
Interview will be required
  • Preparing packages: Packing goods for shipment, ensuring they are properly labeled and secured.
  • Tracking shipments: Monitoring the progress
  • Using UPS world ship shipping labels and systems
  • Ensuring accuracy: Verifying shipping documents and labels for accuracy.
Receiving:
  • Accepting deliveries: Receiving goods from various carriers.
  • Inventorying goods: Checking incoming items against shipping documents and ensuring they match.
  • Handling damaged goods: Dealing with any issues related to damaged or missing items.

In essence, shipping and receiving clerks are responsible for everything is properly documented and tracked.
