Project Manager

Location: Moorestown, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a Project Manager with experience in restoration and/or construction project management. This role is responsible for leading complex commercial restoration and reconstruction projects while ensuring quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

The Project Manager serves as a technical expert for large-scale, complex, and high-profile projects and may support regional catastrophe (CAT) response efforts following hurricanes, floods, and other natural disasters. This position offers opportunities for continued professional development, including estimator training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all restoration and construction service lines.
  • Manage project scope, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety, and customer communication.
  • Oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Review daily project progress, document milestones, and communicate challenges to leadership.
  • Maintain complete project documentation, including photos, reports, sketches, graphs, and field logs.
  • Coordinate and qualify subcontractors and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage both fixed-price and time-and-material projects.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation required for invoicing.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain company equipment.
  • Protect client property while maintaining the highest professional standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every phase of the project.
  • Report labor hours, equipment usage, and materials accurately and on time.
  • Participate in company-sponsored operational and safety training.
  • Travel as needed and work evenings or weekends when project demands require.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience managing commercial restoration or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Experience supervising field personnel, subcontractors, and multiple project teams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage projects exceeding $1 million in value.
  • Proficiency in documenting project progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Willingness to travel periodically and participate in catastrophe response assignments when required.
Preferred SkillsConstruction Focus
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction work.
  • Supervise employees and subcontractors across multiple job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage blueprint interpretation and project execution.
Restoration Focus
  • Lead restoration crews and temporary personnel on mitigation projects.
  • Develop and execute restoration plans in collaboration with estimators.
  • Manage time-and-material restoration projects.
  • Supervise multiple crews and concurrent restoration projects.
