Job description

We are seeking a friendly, highly organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist with prior experience to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays an important part in creating a welcoming and efficient experience. If you enjoy helping people and providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome and assist patients, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and phone inquiries
  • Verify insurance benefits, process payments, and handle invoicing
  • Maintain organized and accurate patient records and office documentation
  • Assist with inventory management for office and optical supplies
  • Support office workflow by collaborating with doctors, technicians, and optical staff
Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer service role in healthcare or optometry IS REQUIRED
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in office software and scheduling systems (EHR experience is required)
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
  • Leadership qualities and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities
