Print Production Operator 

Location: San Jose, CA 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:30pm 
Pay: $20.00 per hour 
Duration: Temporary, Ongoing 
Start: ASAP 

A Digital Print & Document Provider is seeking a full-time, dependable, detail-oriented Print Production Operator to join their San Jose team! If you enjoy working in fast-paced environment and take pride in producing high quality printed materials, we'd love to hear from you! 

Please note: This is not a graphic design position. This role focuses on print production, equipment operation, finishing, and order fulfillment.

Print Production Operator Job Summary: As a Print Production Operator, you'll play an important role in ensuring customer orders are produced accurately, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities of a Print Production Operator:
  • Receive, process, and fulfill print production orders while reviewing work orders for accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare files, calibrate printers, and operate digital print equipment, including Canon production printers.
  • Perform printing, copying, scanning, binding, finishing, packaging, and shipping of completed orders.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Prioritize multiple projects, communicate professionally with customers and team members, and maintain a clean, organized production workspace.
  • Operation of high-volume production equipment (Canon) with other digital print and finishing equipment

Requirements of a Print Production Operator: 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a print production environment.
  • Experience operating digital production printers and copiers, with knowledge of print production workflows.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25–50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a production environment with equipment noise
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and other physical tasks throughout the shift
