    Venesco LLC is seeking a Medical Coder to perform clinical coding activities for adverse events, medical histories, procedures, and concomitant medications for FDA-regulated clinical trials, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.ย  ย 

    Requirements

    Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

    • Code adverse events using MedDRA terminology.ย 
    • Code medications using WHO Drug Dictionary.ย 
    • Develop coding conventions and coding guidelines.ย 
    • Review CRFs and contribute to data review activities.ย 
    • Perform coding reconciliation activities.ย 
    • Generate coding reports and quality control reviews.ย 
    • Support database testing and validation activities.ย 
    • Conduct coding-related training for study personnel.ย 
    • Maintain coding documentation and audit trails.ย 
    • Support regulatory submissions and database lock activities.ย 

    Minimum Qualificationsย 

    • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Clinical Research, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related discipline.ย 
    • MedDRA Certified and WHO-Drug Certified.ย 
    • Minimum 7 years of medical coding experience.ย 
    • Expertise with MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries.ย 
    • Experience supporting FDA-regulated clinical studies.ย 
    • Knowledge of CDISC and clinical data standards preferred.ย
