U.S.VETS—the nation’s largest nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending veteran homelessness—is seeking a Licensed Intern/Licensed Intern Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team. This is an ideal opportunity for a developing clinician who is eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience working with diverse client populations.

This role offers a balance of autonomy and support—giving you space to grow while ensuring you are guided along the way.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide individual and group therapy to clients using evidence-based approaches
  • Support clients navigating mental health challenges, trauma, and life transitions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Build and manage a caseload (growing to approximately 10+ clients per week)
  • Participate in weekly clinical supervision and team collaboration
  • Manage your schedule to meet both client needs and program expectations
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support holistic care
What Makes You a Strong Fit
  • You are committed to growing as a clinician
  • You are open to feedback and clinical supervision
  • You value collaboration and teamwork
  • You are reliable, organized, and communicative
  • You approach clients with empathy, professionalism, and curiosity
Qualifications
  • Licensed with Nevada state board of the following: CSW-I, MFT-I, CPC-I
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy
  • Interest in working with diverse populations, including veterans
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage scheduling and client caseload
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and/or weekends
Why Join U.S.VETS?

  • Clinical Growth: Weekly supervision and hands-on experience
  • Mission-Driven Work: Support veterans in meaningful ways
