Position Overview
As a Stretch Operator, you'll play a vital role in stretching high-strength structural components used in aerospace applications worldwide. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a mission that literally helps the world take flight.

  • Competitive Pay:
    • 1st Shift
      • 6:00 AM- 6:00PM
      • $20.00/hour starting
      • $21.56/hour after completion of level 1 (around 90 days)
    • 2nd Shift
      • 4:00 PM-12:00AM (M-F with some weekends)
      • $20.75/hour starting
      • $22.31/hour after completion of level 1 (around 90 days)
    • 3rd Shift
      • 6:00 PM-6:00AM
      • $22.00/hour starting
      • $23.56/hour after completion of level 1 (around 90 days)

Responsibilities
  • Operate stretch machine, saw, and related equipment
  • Inspect products for quality and dimensional accuracy
  • Promote and practice workplace safety
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate various machines
  • Physically able to stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

Safety Commitment
All UAC employees must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety trainings, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Employees must understand the PPE and wear it properly.
